Radically Reimagining: The Human Relationship with Nature
The Book Project
Radically Reimagining: The Human Relationship with Nature, a coffee table / art book that will be sold in major online book retailers along with Arizona-based bookstores and gift shops. The book will be comprised of essays and art photographs on twelve key environmental issues.
Each topic will have a writer and artist collaborator paired to co-create approximately ten pages of text and visual imagery to depict the topic. Our writers and artists are Arizona thought-leaders in the sustainability space, with a diverse range of backgrounds and expertise—poets, virtual reality creators, academics, fictional authors, painters, photographers, and culinary artists.
This project emerged from the Radically Reimaging Earth Day events and Arizona Sustainability Leadership Awards (https://radicallyreimagining.com), supported by several departments at Arizona State University, including the College of Law, Desert Humanities Institute, and Institute of Humanities.
An art book of writers and artists paired to co-create new ways of relating to nature and one another on topics ranging from wildfire to farming, trails to fashion
